Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site, data entered into the comments form is collected, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.

An anonymised string (hash) from the email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check if it is in use. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval, a profile picture may be visible alongside the comment.

Media

If images are uploaded to the website, it is advised to avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Other visitors may be able to download and extract location data from such images.

Cookies

If a comment is left, the site may store the name, email address, and website in cookies for convenience. These cookies last for one year.

Chauffeurs UK (Howard Stevens Ltd) brand is a holder of a PRIVATE HIRE OPERATORS LICENSE (OP-2144) with Mid Sussex District Council, which allows the booking and operation of Private Hire Vehicles and Drivers – services frequently described as a “limo service” or “chauffeur-driven tours”. This license enables us to offer visitors to the UK our core service of chauffeur-driven guided tours, as well as other types of chauffeur-driven services, including airport transfers.

English Law

English Law will govern the contract between us, and the English courts will have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute. Our terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Data Protection

The protection of your personal information or data is critical to us. To respond to an enquiry, process and fulfil your booking or send you a brochure or other promotional material, we need to collect your contact details, such as your name and address. We will only process your data following our Privacy Policy, available here. General Data Protection Regulation (which is otherwise known as GDPR) and a new UK Data Protection Act. We refer to this legislation as data protection laws.

You may ask us what personal data of yours is being held or processed, for what purpose and to whom it may be or has been disclosed. You may also withdraw your consent to receiving marketing material or other communications from us at any time by unsubscribing to our emails or otherwise contacting us.

Brochure and Website Content

We take reasonable care to ensure that the information contained in our marketing materials is accurate and up to date.

Rates and Packages

A ‘package’ is a pre-arranged combination of at least three travel services, including tours, transport, and ticket purchases. We cannot be made responsible for any additional services NOT purchased through Chauffeurs UK.

Information provided to us

We can provide a fully designed itinerary with a quote only when the following information is provided:

1. Day of arrival and port of entry
2. Day of departure and port of exit
3. Personal interests, touring and services requested
4. Names and ages of visitors

Booking Conditions

All travel services are subject to availability and require a 100% non-refundable payment at the time of booking. We reserve the right to refuse to proceed with any booking at any time for any reason.

Where your booking is for more than one person, the first-named person in your party aged eighteen years or over will be treated by us as the ‘lead name’ for your booking. The lead (or Agent) name will be responsible for making all payments due to us in accordance with our contract. We will treat your completion and submission of our Booking Form as confirmation that you have read, understood and accepted all our Terms & Conditions.

Cancellation and Amendments

(a) The Company will try to assist you if you wish to alter your arrangements. The booker must submit amendments in writing. If it is possible to make the amendment, it will be subject to an amendment charge of £50 per booking, plus all communication charges and other expenses incurred by the Company. These charges will be payable in any event.

(b) All cancellations are to be made in writing.

If a Client/Agent wishes to cancel or amend Services less than 30 days before the travel date, we can only refund any recoverable amounts of fees. Usually, there are no recoverable fees at this stage of the booking.

Travel Insurance Required

Chauffeurs UK Ltd (Howard Stevens Ltd) requires proof of full Travel Insurance before booking.
